I just put in a BG 400. I got it cheap at a swap meet. If I was having to buy new it would probably be a mgnaflow. Always heard good things about them.

I'm going to find out how my Magnaflow 500 does with a 528 ci Alky carbed motor with occasional nitrous in a 3000lb door car.

Well with all the info you gave it might be hard to
answer .... could be a Holley blue to a mega pump...
I run a pair of Holley black 150s going 9.0 but they
are capable of much more

P-body,why two pumps? one for each bowls? I have a BG280 and it seem to work on my car but I think its about to take a dump on me.The engine made 715 on ryanj dyno so I was going to get the BG400 or the holley150.

I didnt think 1 would do and I also run a return
so if the return can handle the supply it wouldnt
be a issue(which its been fine so far)

I have seen a lot of high $$$ pumps and the big lines going to the high $$$ regulator with 3-4 ports mounted on the firewall or fender well. They then use only one port to fed both bowls on the carburetor . Am I wrong in seeing a problem with this? I say put the regulator at the base of the carb. and use a port (and keep line's short) to each bowl.
