540dust, Except for my excessive noise, I'm relieved that my graph is basically the same shape as yours. I've got some tire spin and two shifts instead of one. It looks like my tire spin starts and stops between 0.2 and 0.5 seconds after first movement.
Is that timing significant or just normal?

Brian do you have a crank trigger or just the MSD dist.?

Mine used to look like it had noise with just the dist. but when I put a crank trigger on there it was smooth

I do run an MSD billet distributor with the 7AL-2 ignition, no crank trigger. I've always thought the timing could be steadier, but losing the timing curve reduced my interest in a crank trigger.
Any idea why switching to the crank trigger cleaned up your graph?
