What are you doing for a transmission Crossmember Bob?

Did the car spread apart much when you cut the cross member out?

waiting on the moly double gusset brackets to show up and then i can finishing the trans crossmember it will bolt in
my offset is 12 inches on the crossmember

add the seat bar and my 6D and the floor is to 25.3 spec.

car still has the front frame rails/fire wall and the rear frame rails / trunk in it and supports from the rockers down to floor no problems with the car trying to spread out.

I still havent decide to keep the stock rear frame rails in the car or not just for a few classes that it can run in
most only care about the front frame rails and fire wall

Bob, run your own rails inside of the stock rails if you want to be sneaky about it or run them beside stock rails. Most of the rules say it must have stock rails doesn't say you can't add.

Steff had good pics of his round tube rails inside the factory rails from his chally build.

my 2B bars (rear rails) will run along the side the stock rails

i was thinking of cutting them out for the weight but want to keep the car open to more classes.
