Getting ready to replace my rear leaf spring in my 73 duster340. And I been doing some comparsion pricing and options.
ESPO springs gave me a price of $225 for stock replacement 6 leaf springs. 1" lift springs are $255. shackle kits and shipping are extra.
Mancini Racing has HD springs with 1" lift for $215. again shackles and shipping are extra.
I'd like to know peoples choices good and bad between the two. Or if there are other vendors also.
I want to try to keep a close to stock height with no more than a 1" lift.
I've heard some stories about leaf spring sets being unbalanced and cars sitting higher on one side than other.
Any input, ideas and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'm running two left side superstock springs on mine with a 1" lowering block. The car sits level and the spring rates are great for spirited driving without being too harsh. This is in my '68 convertible a-body.

I've never had any problems with Eaton or ESPO leaf springs.

You can add one leaf next to the main leaf and it will look like stock HD springs and do what you want and not break the bank to do it and not take much more than a couple of hours to complete.

Clean it, if it's Dirty. Oil it, if it Squeaks. But: Don't fix it, if it Works!

Lots of spring vendors including Mopar Performance, Firm Feel, Hotchkis, etc. There are also different spring hangers available to lower the car or to modify the suspension geometry a little bit.

We got the mancini springs for the 70 dart a couple months ago. Very happy so far. Certainly does not sit higher than 1 inch in rear. Etch primed and painted them before the installation.

That might be a version of an SS spring doing that.

I have 2" Espo lift springs on my Duster for years now, just like new.

I just got a set of XHD springs from Mancini's last week. So far, so good. I like the stance the car has now.

I've bought 2 sets of 1" over stock springs from ESPO for my Dusters and never a problem.

I would highly recommend them.

Just got my set of 5-leaf leaf-springs with 1 inch lift for my 73 dart. Looks great and with the new 1" torsion bar It feels very tight and looks great.

Also, the woman (laura?) i spoke with was very helpful and they shipped quick, with great communication through the whole thing.
