hey all,

A while back, i spoke with someone-somewhere who was producing fiberglass ramcharger drop-bases. I think I had gotten his name out of an ad in Mopar Collector's Guide. I can't seem to find it now....does anyone know who this is? I really don't want to have to fabricate something if i can just buy it....any thoughts?

Ok, i have spent an hour or so researching and I have answers to my own question....so i thought i would put it all here in case anyone else is fighting the same issues.

everything can be answered (somewhat through these links)

Contact is Steve Mathews and he makes a very well thought out A/G-Ramcharger base that can be customized to different heights and wont interfere with the choke/choke horn.

This link gives a wealth of info on the difference (in height)between the 383 A/G-Ramcharger base and the 440 unit

These folks sell correct steel repops of both the 383 and 440 bases if the 3/4" to 1" difference between the two will solve your problems.

Please add any other info anyone might have.

I am trying to run an aftermarket intake (torker which is shorter or preferably an RPM) with an 850 Holley and a Ramcharger setup.
