What could cause this? Runs great plugs look good after drive (shut off immediately after drive).Has edelbrock carbs (2) adusted them all over per edelbrock any one have any idea? Thanks

r u running mechanical or electric fuel pump?
Might be fuel psi to high.

I'm having the very same problem with an Eddy 1406 on a 318 with standard mechanical pump, and have had the same problem with Edelbrocks in the past. I think they just idle rich.

I have elec pump and fuel pressure gauge. Pressure is set at 6 psi
