There are a very few years that are non-lock up, low gear set, but it will be hard to find.
It's probably cheapest/easiest to just buy a lock up, and convert it to a non-lock up. That way when you do it, you can buy a 3 ring input shaft, 5 clutch drum, and matching front pump all together from your local trans parts distributor... The lock up core will have the low gear set already in it.
You have to be careful mix and matching 904 parts. If you are going to put a 5 clutch high gear drum in it, it needs the right rear clutch to go with it. The splines of the rear clutch are longer then the standard 3/4 clutch stuff. Also beware of the different diameter 5 clutch drums. If you get the large diameter one (usually in an A500), you'll need the matching large diameter sunshell to go wtih it. High gear drum has to match the right pump too. 5-clutch drum pumps are machined to clear the drum itself. Without it, the pump will crash into the drum...
