You need to remove the steering linkage and anything else thats in the way of the pan comming out.should come out easy after that.

That's how to do it. drop it and push it back out of the way. I use a small short 1/4 inch drive ratchet for the front pan bolts.

I can get my 8 qt pan with windage tray in and out from underneath.You will have to undo the motor mounts and lift the engine also.Rocky
