How difficult is removal of oil pan in car? 65 belvedere, 440 engine.

You need to remove the steering linkage and anything else thats in the way of the pan comming out.should come out easy after that.

That's how to do it. drop it and push it back out of the way. I use a small short 1/4 inch drive ratchet for the front pan bolts.

Will the oil pickup and baffles in bottom of pan be a problem?

I can get my 8 qt pan with windage tray in and out from underneath.You will have to undo the motor mounts and lift the engine also.Rocky
