Here is a '70 340 Challenger (non-R/T, A66-car) that was on Ebay ~10 years ago. It is coded for N94 & its SPD is the same day as my car (702).

Anotol was one of the founders of NEHOA, I cannot say for certain but will check with a good friend who talks with Anotol regularly, but I think it was a shaker car originally. Was a nice car, 4 speed, EB5 wide front molding, etc. I bought my hemicuda from him in 95, he was selling the 71 Challenger right after I bought the cuda. Should have bought it too, but that is hindsight.

He said N96, so shaker.

Anatols' B5 hemi Challenger was originally from Buffalo, NY where Walt D. bought it. It had a damaged door which Walt replaced and proceeded to add an NOS shaker hood, wide hood mldg pkge and an NOS Hemi shaker assembly he got from me. Walt also added louvers, spoilers.
He sold the car to Anatol this way. Anatol bought another NOS TA Hemi aircleaner that I had, and bought a TA hood and equipped it this way.
I almost traded for the car when Walt owned it and had added the goodies.
When Anatol had the car for sale at Chryslers @ Carlilse in the 90's, in a weak moment he sold me the complete shaker assembly incuding NOS hood/trim ring right off the car for $1800.00.
A board member here was with me when this went down. Anatol put a bulge hood back on it and sold the car after the show but did not let the HemiTA air cleaner go with it, selling it later. The current owner of ther air cleaner wishes to keep it.

its funny after work on a cold rainy night i drove 3 hours to make the deal on the car. earlier in the day he pulled it out of his garage and wrecked the rear quarter panel running over a bicycle.
i asked for a $2000.00 discount to get the quarter fixed. he said no. said thats the price. i said we made a deal over the phone and thought it was a fair request because earlier in the week, there was no damage on the car.
i walked away from it.challenger had full documentation and when i was going to purchase it.it had the TA hood on it.im positive it was coded for the n96.
i wasnt too thrilled about the added rear window louvers.

Is this Paul's pure/stock Challenger R/T?

No, it is not Paul's car... but it was raced one year at the Pure Stock Drags when Tem G. owned it. It is a real 440 Six Pack 4 Speed car that was purchased new from North Star Dodge in San Antonio, Texas. I owned the car for a long time and sold it to a friend who later sold it to Tem who restored it. It was a Rallye hood car...

The picture you posted was taken at a Sonic car show, and here is one from a local indoor show...

I didn't say it wasn't coded for N96...I just stated that Walt put all NOS shaker stuff on it before the resto/repaint. I personally delivered all the shaker parts to his place in Elmer, NJ one year on the way to Englishtown.
It may have still had the TA hood on it when you tried to purchase it, but I know who owns the air cleaner today and it is the one I sold Anatol.
There wasn't too many of those air cleaners built to be floating around.
I owned 4 of the reportedly 12 or so HemiTA air cleaners manufactured by Fram.
I was told at least half went to Hamtramk for production cars and the others were supposed to go for service replacement ( Chrysler depot )but they didn't all make it.
The Fram employee who personally spotwelded them all together and provided this information, gave me this print along with 2 other HemiTA air cleaners that he found behind a brake while I was there in 1984.

Terry has it all right.

I looked at the blue hemi car(Anatol's) and tried to buy it. Mid 90's??. We just couldn't agree on the price. I have a copy of the broadcast here somewhere. Walt added all the extra stuff. Was a pretty nice car and looked sharp with the T/A hood.

While I was pretty desperate to purchase a 71 hemi Challenger I did regret passing on it at the time. I was fortunate enough to get another shot at one and I am glad I waited for the one I have.

The red T/A hooded hemi Challenger is it the same Challenger that was owned by a member on Moparts and one other person that was an NHOA member. Is this the same car that was to be involved with a grudge match with a Buick.

Mccannix you had plenty a chances to buy the old Blue 1971 Hemi Challenger from Walt and Anatol. Atleast you got to buy some of the car even if I had to carry it back to your spot at Carlisle old guy.

The FE5 N94 Hemi Challenger was bought from Lee H. out of Lubbock, Texas by NHOA member Glenn H. who sold it to NHOA member Mark A. In the late 1980s Mark sold the car to someone from Florida (IIRC), and later Moparts member Patrick F. ended up with the car. I do not know anything that relates to a grudge match with a Buick...

i was sure i remember a N96 on his fender tag and buildsheet.
i would have passed on the car otherwise and not made him an offer.
could i be wrong here?
