Other side,
Also, Are you using the correct brackets? there are two styles, one for E body that puts the engine in a different place...than yours..
It should be set up for the 69 b-body. Right now its at the body shop. We have it as a roller now. I hope to get it home in the next few days. The valve cover is an easy fix. Steering box has several issues. I may be able to shim the gear box if thats possible. Or maybe shim the motor mounts? The valve cover can be milled and a small bump in the tower should get me an easy 1/4 inch of clearance.
Stock mounts, MP iron reads, Indy aluminum covers.

One thing I might add here, and I work on a lot of hemi stuff. If you are planning on running headers and any of the aftermarket K frames, then you are best to resign yourself to going with manual steering. The P/S is a big headache otherwise. If you have ever seen an original Hemi car with all original equipment-the fit is very tight in many areas. All it takes is for something to be "off" just a slight bit with the made up Hemi K frames that are available and you will have some serious fitment problems. MB

That's what I encountered w/ my Challenger. Other option for power steering is a J Body box that doesn't have the dome top. I had Firm Feel make one for me & Dennis shaved a little off the housing for extra clearance & add the stage 2 kit, as well. I've decided to go manual steering instead & save some weight, so will be selling the brand new J body box. I'll try to post pics.

I put the same k-member from the same people in my 68 charger. Everything is very tight, just like yours. It's just the way they are, especially the TTI's. We had to modify mine/clearance to fit at the steering box & torsion bar area (2-1/4 primaries). The Indy valve covers are larger than stock so no surprise there, even the other's are very close.
