I found one more pic of my rear window corners "before", it doesn't get much worse than that!. There was almost nothing left of the filler panel, in fact someone had riveted aluminum coil stock(for siding)over the gaping holes.

Most people would have parted that, you are a true insperation.
I'm currently working on my 69 RR and when that goes to the body guy I will start on my 68.I bought my 68 out of western Nebraska from a fellow Moparts member.It pretty solid with just the quarters have a little rust, it was originaly Gold with a White vinyl top and green interior
You'll have plenty of time to sleep when your dead, let's go

Thanks again for the positive feedback, I'm honored by your comments and it is also a great confidence booster.  I had some rust to contend with at the bottoms of the rear doorjambs as well. With as far as the car is torn apart at this point, I did not want to replace the entire jambs, so I found some nice, solid oem pieces on ebay for a fraction of the cost of the AMDs and cut out the patches that I needed.

After on the driver side and again still need to smooth it out a little more before I send it off to the media blaster. That is going to be this weekends job, to grind and dress all of the plug welds and the few stitch welds I've done to date.

Matt,Dry fit your rear window and window moldings,before you paint the car,some minor modifications are necessary to insure perfect fitment. Use rubber shims the thickness of the window ribbon,to space the glass the correct distance from the window channel. The channel may require some cutting and rewelding,or some hammer shaping. Install all your molding retaining clips in the proper locations. You may spend the better part of a day doing this,but it's better to find out now,than after it's painted.

Chargervert, thanks for the info, ironically, a buddy of mine owns a body shop and they just did a restoration on a Chebby. Sent it off to another location to get the glass and some other things installed on it and when they got it back and tried to put the trim on the rear window, they found that the proper spacers were not used and the trim stood off from the glass by a quarter inch. Out comes the new glass, risking damage to the fresh paint and trim, what a waste. You can gaurentee I will be paying close attension to any reassembly that I will not be doing myself.

Still trying to get it ready for media blasting, if there is anybody out there that thinks this work is not really time consuming, I'm here to tell you it is. Finished welding in all the parts around the package tray and began the tedious task of grinding down all of the plug welds that I have done since I started putting it back together. You definitely have to put yourself in the "zone" for this process!  . In order to break up that minotony I finished the repair on the rear tailpanel cross member and here is how that looked.
