Will I need a longer accelerator cable for my 71 Charger to 440 w/ Edelbrock Performer RPM? If so has anybody found one that will work?

I have Lokars on both the BB 71 and SB 72 chargers. Team G intake on the BB and RPM on the SB.

You can use a /6 or truck... They are the longest factory...

Lokar -> Bracket, throttle and throttle pressure aka: kick down. All the cable lengths are custom fit and easy to install.

Longer cables are probably still available from Dodge dealers or try suppliers like Mancini. I always use the factory type cables. Mancini or Hughes also have taller throttle brackets to work with the taller intake manifolds.

I used the stock cable on my 68 Dart. Originally a 273 car.

My intake is the Holley Street Dominator with a 1" spacer but I also use the Lokar cabe and it works great. Very easy to install and you make the cable the lenth you need. Ron

I dunno I HATED my lokar. it never seemed to be adjusted right. I yanked it off at the track and used an old /6 cable I found and it worked perfect.

I had exactly the same problem. It would rotate on the carb stud. I tossed it and bought one of AR's brackets it works great.
