I was wondering if anyone knows the relay part # (sames a 3 connector 30A power window relay?)and 'hot' wire location for the convertible top. I have the 3 connector switch wired(up/down) with the exception of the 12v power which I assumes plugs into a relay at the fuse box.

Any help would be appreciated.

E-body convertible top uses no relay.. There is a circut breaker that attaches to the edge of the fuse box, it recieves power from the red wire at the back of the ammeter... Just a second wire is attached to the stud & runs down to the circut breaker...

Thanks for the info! So, by cirucit breaker you mean like a 30amp fuse, fusible link or something of the sort. I just need to be sure to bypass the ignition power and get +12v directly from the batt with a fuse in between.

You wouldn't happen to have the part number for that second part would you from that website? I have mine, but the cover to it has been off it since I bought the car in '91. That's the part that plugs into the fuse box, right? Thanky!

Thats a standard Buss circut breaker, the 20a version is ACB-20 so a 30a is probably ACB-30

there is a safety relay for the top and power windows that is on the fuse box- power via a circuit breaker on the fuse box that is feed from the amp meter.

Power from the red wire on the back of the ammeter...

I realize this post is 4 years old but is it possible to post the pics again? I'm stuck with wiring for the fuse block on the convertible version 71 Cuda. I'm needing to add the terminals to the fuse block as it's non convertible fuse block.
Thank you,
Tom
