Just wondering if anyone has seen this car in person and can give me any info or opinions on it? Condition, quality of work etc. I'm considering buying it. PM's are welcome if you don't wish to post here.

The owner says it has stock leaf springs in it, and that a chassis shop in GA built it. This is the way he bought it. That's about the only thing that seems odd about it to me. Otherwise I like what I see/know.

Thanks in advance for any help

What part of NC is it in? I haven't seen it at any races in the last 3-4 years at the tracks I have raced at.

The owner says the car hasn't been raced since it was finished. I have no clue what it may have looked like before that picture.

Have you checked with NHRA or IHRA to see who's number is on the window?

It was Mike Robbins car originally. Everything he has owned is very nice top quality stuff. I have never seen the car run personally though.

One day I will have something cool here.

I got the car from Mike Robbins a couple yrs ago.
It is a top quality ride. Everything is BRAND NEW.
I would be happy to give the basics about the car.
But it would be better to come see in person, or have someone that lives nearby to take a look.
The price is less than 1/2 what it would cost to build.

If it's in Statesville, Lenny Melton is right nearby and I'm not too far from there if you need somebody to check it out.

From what I cas see in pics It looks like a very slick piece of work!

I was drooling over that car in the f/s section. If I had the $$$ it would be headed up north.

I was enterested in that car myself..I talked to Dale Harwood about it..and he said it was a nice car,,but was way to heavy for what they wanted to do with it..and the rear suspension set-up turned me off..but that is what is popular down south.

Would make a great drag radial turbo car

Beautiful car.... Mike Robbins bought the car already built. Guy named Chris Buffington got the body from me. Him and one of his friends built the car. He's the one that also painted it. The guy can paint!!! Chris put a mild 360 and 904 in it to start with. I bought the drivetrain after they made a few passes. They decided to go big block instead. I guess his plans changed again and he sold it to Mike Robbins the way you see it. I think I put frame connectors in it? I never liked the way the tubs was done in it. I have Chris's phone # if you need it?
