Ok I'll bite...some look nice, I do like the black Charger, but what's the point? what is it's function?

The purpose of an air dam is to enhance aerodynamics and stability of the car by blocking the flow of turbulent air under the chassis and pushing it around the car.

Is this for road racing? Not sure it has a drag strip application. I don't see too many of them there. To me it looks like it would ADD resistance to the front of the car.

Its for driving. This isn't a drag car. Air dams are molded into or under every new car today. They do not add resistance.

Could you give more details on that late Challenger spoiler onto early Challenger?
What Challenger? R/T? SRT?
What was involved?
Thanks.

I believe they are more for cooling as new cars have less open grill area than old rides. Not saying it doesn't look good just wondering if it has any performance benefits. FWIW they both look pretty good.

Do you have any other pics of that SRT Spoiler install?
I have one here and it looks very close but would like to swipe some ideas before I reinvent the wheel.
Thanks.
