I was thinking of putting new battery cables on my 68 Dart. Does any vendor make the 2 shades of red cables with a part # on the darker red main wire?
Are all the repo cables on the market from the same manufacturer? who would be the choice vendor for the most correct sets?

...correct A body pos. cable has the asbestos heat sleeve and are about $150.
i bought a 43" E-body pos. cable for about $30,cut it,slid the old heat sleeve on, up out of the way and spliced/soldered it back together.
covered joints with shrink tube and tape, then slid the heat sleeve over my splices.

Positive cable for 68 had the part number 2770662 and vendor code scripted on all along the darker red main cable as seen on this NOS one.
Although nice, I dont think those $150.00 'correct' repros have this.
