Not sure if this is the right place to post, if not, sorry Moparts. Anyhow, I have both original doors and what I believe is the original trunk lid to this car. I spoke to Galen a couple years ago and the last he heard of the car it was in Florida. I can tell you these parts were swapped out with a plane jane red 71 cuda in Texas junkyard, which is where this car was probably originally from.

From the look of the doors and my brief conversation with Galen, the car was originally a drag car that eventually was restored. The doors have been lightened (horizontal braces removed) but are other wise intact, less the driver’s window, with zero rust.

The trunk lid is also rust free but has surface dents/warps in it.

I would like to find the owner and give him/her a chance to relieve me of these before I sell them.

If anyone knows of this car whereabouts or hopefully knows the owner, please pass along my information so we can get these parts on to where they belong.

What's a 70 E body door worth? Looks like a basic door that's been worked over with a VIN sticker for a hemi car. Only thing that might be worth more than a door off a /6 car is the sticker, and those are reproduced now.

There is a lost and found section.

You got an extra '8' in the vin you typed.

I recommend ECS for the stickers. I have no comment on the Broadcast Sheet.

Thanks for VIN error RobX - I changed it. Yes, some one could have put a sticker on the door, I have no idea. But you have to ask, if they are /6 doors why would you lighten them - so you could go 45 vs 40 in the 1/4?. They came on 71 I bought and I since found a non-hacked set to use. Yes, they aren't worth much which is why I'd like to find the car they belong to so that guy can store them at his house instead of mine. I am sick of owning them as I must have moved these things 20 times over the 3 years and my back hurts.

When you say relieve... I get the sense that they are worth 10x their weight in gold because of the door sticker. Call me jaded, but, that's what I sense when stuff like this gets posted. Has a Hemi door sticker and it's worth far more than another door. If that's not the case, I apologize.

My point was it's worth what an E-body door is worth, just has a cool sticker on it. If someone wanted to give you a kings ransom for it... please abuse them for all you can get.

Cheers RobX. Actually they are probably worth less than E Body doors as they are hacked. No apology needed. The only one they might be worth more to is the owner of the car if it even exists. At least Galen is aware of the doors and car history so no scammers can rebadge another.

Do you have space on your living room wall for them?

Anyone that knows me, knows the answer to that is a big NO!

I forwarded the thread to Barry Washington to see if he had any contact info on the car. You never know.

There is a certain ebayer selling a Charger 500 engine that might have an interest in these doors

That doesn't mean he won't buy them though

I have heard of this car before from a pal in Florida. I will email him with a link to this thread, hopefully he knows who owns it.

I used to own that Hemicuda. I was the one who swapped out the doors due to the condition of them both. I fully restored the car and it happily exists today in Missouri. The link above can put you in touch with the current owner. I doubt he'll want the doors, but it is a courteous gesture to ask. Ask for Darrell.

Thanks FCYCuda. I sent him an email and we'll see if he wants them. I imagine not but at least I tried.
