Were is a good place to get bumpers rechromed.I'm looking for a good chrome job but doesnt have to be show chrome.I'm looking for something that will last.

Tri City plating does a nice job at about the best price around. They are near Bristol TN. They ahve done 6 bumpers for us.

Check their web site for the shows they attend. They bring a truck load of redone bumpers and they accept your core exchange on the spot. They might attend a show close to ya instead of paying shipping $$.

Most of the ones in Michigan are very expensive. The good priced ones are gone. I called around the state a year ago and they wanted $400 to replate a set of valve covers. My friend had some bumpers done in London, Canada a couple years ago for a good price. Bumper Boys in Calf. aren't bad if you exchange yours at a swap meet they attend. This way you can inspect it yourself. My friend sent a perfect one for replate and they returned to him a rust pitted backside bumper replated in exchange. They wouldn't let him return it either.

If you use any company, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT..I used Tri City on my Cuda rear bumper and it started with spyder cracks less than a year later. I called them and they said they would redo it, just send it back with the receipt.........Uh Oh, guess what? I have searched high and low and no receipt!!! I think it should have lasted more than one year, but it's my fault for not saving the receipt.

Do not deal with the Bumper Boyz at any cost. Trust me, if you do you will only have one dealing with them. I would be surprised if they get any return customers whatsoever.

I had two sets of corvette bumpers done by them. They did a good job for the money. I would use them again for a street car. bumper boyz are not that bad, thou I did get someone elses bumper back , but they took care of it for me. No problems

Neil if it's for your Charger AMD offers a very reasonably priced singles or pair bumber package, the rear includes bumperettes, everythings new,...I've only used their rear bumper, no issuses with fit, the chrome isn't triple chrome, but is double nickel, not as nice as triple, but better than factory in appearance, but I Know others who have used both bumpers with no issuses on finish or fit

I've used bumper boyz for years and am very happy with the product and service. I've heard nothing but good things about tri-city.

BUT!!! DON'T EVER...EVER...DO BUSINES WITH TRIPP PLATING IN BUFFALO NY. THEY SCREWED ME ROYAL.

Tri City has done every bumper that I've ever had done. I'll only stop using them if I kick the bucket, or BumperBoyz buys them out!
