Hi everyone I just sumped the tank for my Duster and welded in a -6 line for a vent and was wondering if I should just loop it or if I can run the line to my fuel filler tube? Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you run it to the filler tube I would assume your
using the gas cap as a vent.... the cap has a pressure
vac valve in it,takes about 10" of water before the
vac valve will open and about 40" of water before the
pressure side will open... of course you could go
with a vented cap but then I would run a roll over
valve in the line(same valve they use in the fuel cells)
either way you can run the line direct to the filler
tube but if you go with the vented cap it WILL leak
fuel on a roll over

Thanks Mr P Body. I had bought a roll over valve from Jaz (the one pictured) to put between the tank and the filler tube. If I do this it should work correct?

If you use the valve... the one you have pictured
I wouldnt connect it to the filler tube, I would
install the valve in the tank and vent under the
car somewhere.... that way it can breath without
having to open the valve in the cap
EDIT
if you dont want to mount the valve in/on the tank
you can run a hose from the tank to the valve then
hose to under the car..... BUT you need to mount the
valve in a vertical position

Thanks for the info your the best! I think I will just mount the valve vertical like you said under the car somewhere and not go to the filler tube. Thanks again
