My intent is NOT to stir anything. I'm sure, I'm not the only one who's noticed the tech stuff around here is pretty stale.
I don't like "bashing" threads but, admit I've had a few choice words to add to some of them over the years.
I was a "lurker" on here long before I signed on. I remember when Dwyane Porter, Curtis Boggs, Jesse Lackman and even Jeff @ Modern would have neat tech stuff. I know there were others, I've forgotten. Hell, I remember when Brad Hawk had a flow bench and still went by Brad Hawk.
Besides, what's wrong with bumping an old post??
It makes MORE sense to me to bump an old post than start a new one; that way, there's a bunch more info that comes up per thread for the next time that someone's searching.
BTW SST, it was just random chance that I responded to your idea of bumping old posts (to agree w/ ya'); I wasn't trying to throw mud that you're one of the guys trying to get us some 'daytime TV' drama here.
BTW, I think that's maybe why you don't see some of the heavy hitters you named posting as often. Which is a shame, since I'd like to know as much as those guys have forgotten...

Still have the bench, but I've recently lost interest in posting on here like I used to.
The new signature pretty much sums it up.

You're gonna have to spell it out.
TTFN = Ta Ta For Now
Basically, it's to the point where if I don't have something of actual substance to post, I won't be "seen" around here much.

How about a why would someone spend 25000 dollars on a small block when you can build a faster big block for 15000 dollars.
1970 Duster Edelbrock headed 408 5.984@112.52 422 Indy headed small block 5.982@112.56 mph 9.38@138.67

Maybe a comparison of Mopar against the other brands of engines Pros/cons comparing LA to SBC, and RB to BBC, including strokers etc. to make a benchmark study?
I think this would be interesting
