Andy , where did you get those rocker shaft studs?
MagnumHP carries the standard rocker arm shaft stud kit but these are super trick studs from T&D with the turned down waist.

seems like you'd only need 2 turned down like that. i wonder why they do all of them?

Actually you need three turned down for adequate oil flow with the small T&D shaft but the end ones do not need to be turned down since the oil doesn't flow past them. I bet T&D provides the whole kit turned down since they don't trust their customers to assemble the setup correctly.

that makes sense. no way to mess it up with them all that way. i forgot about the smaller shaft of the T&D's.

Andy, what distributor and ignition box are you running ?? We have your wires finally done. Taking pics of them today, and sending them off..How much do you think they would need to be added to fit them on an engine in a car ??
From: AndyF Hi Rick,
I measured up the wires for the Jesel belt drive distributor. The following lengths should work pretty well with dyno headers and Indy heads. The wires will loop down under the heads which works great on the dyno but might not work in a car.
1 wire at 24 inches, 3 at 33.5 inches, 2 at 38 inches and 2 at 41 inches. The Jesel distributor has HEI style terminals. The wires need to have 90 degree boots on both ends. The measurements are from center to center of the boot. (center of the spark plug to center of the HEI terminal)

Here is the street roller cam going in. This cam is pretty close to the MP .590 in terms of 050 duration and lift. Specs on the cam are 260/266 at 050 and .588/.597 lift.
The MP .590 is 265/265 and .590.
But based on how these lobes look I've got to assume that this street roller has a ton more duration at .200 and .300. I'll measure it just to see.
Andy the mp 590 is actually around 271 to 272 @ .050 at .200 its 179* Both me and Porter got the same numbers. mike

Hey Andy, What is the valve timing at .050 and what lobe center is it ground on?
Thank's
The cam is ground on 108 centers. I'll probably install it 4 degrees advanced although Comp recommended 2 degrees advanced.
