First one I put together bout 5-6 years ago, had .075-.080 side clearance..that engine was one of the best ones yet..easy on bearings, and what seemed like indestructible... dont worry.

It would only be an issue with very high rpm, fly-weight rotating mass and super low compression height; like CE or PS.
8.30's @3400 lbs

The oil clearance is a non-issue, but check to be sure the rods can strike the cheek before the pin boss touches the rod eye.
