Just use a dragster dolly.....Never have to jack the trailer up or use any boards....Its just way simple and to easy.

I hope I can post this picture for everyone to see how the ramps raise the front of my 40' GN.
With the lenth of the homemade ramps in the picture with out the ramps I had trouble loading & unloading the car.Now with the ramps I no longer have to use them.

I've used ramps like that when I tow with my pickup truck. It is nice not having to unhook the trailer, just back the truck up onto the ramps...
When towing with the motorhome though that is not an option!

Keep in mind most hardtail cars are LOWER to the ground then a suspended car.

I can see how one would work but would not want to step on it accidently
My trailer has a 4' beavertail so I jack the front up quite a bit and it goes in/out with no problems...
Now the TS car is a big PITA!!
My next trailer will be 2' longer, 8' beavertail with drop start axles.

Just get yourself a 2" pipe if you want one of those.
The problem with that idea is, if the pipe ain't straight it could roll out from under your car before the car is where it belongs.

I made a dragster dolley and used it with my 236" Q8 dragster with BB and PG. I forgot to take pictures of it tonight at work.
Two of us could pickup the front of the car while a third guy positioned the dolly underneath. Once up on the dolly it was quite handy as one guy could put the car anywhere even over bumps. We used it with my old beaver tail trailer. One guy can load the dragster now with a flat floor, where it took three guys to load the old beaver tail trailer.
In that picture above with my car on the rotissiere, is the exact spot I park when I load my dragster which I can do myself if need be.

But when the car grew to 286" with a blown hemi, BJ, and clutch, it was too heavy to pickup any more.
The solution was a flat trailer floor, it requires less front trailer jacking. I've loaded three different dragsters in this trailer and street cars and never a problem no matter where I park. I'm telling you flat is the way to go.
Got no good pictures but I think you can see there is no beaver tail.

There's no hump to get over in a flat floor trailer, that's the difference.

So....the obvious question is.......what happened to the car? Did you get hurt?

Crashed at the finsih line in Columbus Ohio at the June 2003 NHRA Nationals. Round 1 Sun morning racing Tony Bartone, 9:15 AM. The car got almost to the finish line and turned into the wall at 240 MPH. Water was coming up thru the cracks of the track and there was a series of dips in the track in the left lane. No I didn't get hurt, but I did stick the front of my car into the side Of Tonys left rear tire.
Totaled the car but it was rebuilt by Bowen Race cars in Mich in 9 weeks.

Jason Line in Gregs pro stock car crashed the same day in the same lane along with 4 other cars that weekend all in that lane. NHRA closed the track early that year to repave it.

that looks like something i would trip over.

my 40' trailer with 8' beaver tail, and 4' flap with 3" bumpers under door and it still won't go in. not sure what those axles are though.

I use this for my car... I have 6" bumpers on the
door which is about 6.5' tall then have 6.5' alum
ramps hinged to the door... the ramps I made have
a side wall that goes to the ground with a lip so
they stay on the surface instead of digging in. This
pic is a while back, since then the door got alum
diamond plate and 2 eye bolts (1 on each side) for
a strap to hold the ramps from swinging. I dont jack
the front up because I have a LQ up front and want
it level
