I'm addicted to that show, watch it every night! And yes there are some serious turds on the show. But last night Mike Murillo was on the show with his 6 second turbo stang, sounded like a jet car but didn't stay hooked. It's amazing how many guys stand there and say they have 700-850HP with wheelie bars and a chute on the back and then bust out a 10.79 with good traction. Then there's some runners to that surprise ya!

The show is entertaining.....but, if I see ANOTHER 540 inch big block Chevy on nitrous in a Camaro I'm going to toss my cookies....

Don't like Chevies on the show? Do some of you ever actually go to a drag strip and watch racing? The ratio of Chevies to Mopars is easily 10/1. They have alot on the show because alot show up to race period. Get over it. personally I don't care what make it is as long as it's a well built car. Seen pleny of junky Mopar turds on the show too.

Chevrolet - What else is there?
When I see it I usually guess the time by saying something to the effect... 'It'll run 10.20's, it should run low 9's, but it'll run 10.20's!' ...usually not far off the mark, either.

I will agree that some are slow. But you also have to remember that the shows taped at Area 51 in Roswell the altitude is 3600'. Herring remarked about forgetting to factor that in the other evening on one episode.
only a few of the shows were filmed in NM. They travel around taping episodes. The first 3 were at Bradenton and it was a huge fiasco. Friends of mine waited 3 days to make one pass. No thanks...
