She looks nice, we'll see what kind of power it makes. With the new Jesel valvetrain the cam lift is around 0.800. Other changes are the belt drive, belt driven distributor, crank trigger, 440-3X intake, and the reverse flow water pump.
EDIT - the motor made 674 ft-lbs at 6100 rpm and 805 hp at 6400 rpm.

I also provided the info to Russ at Indy but he didn't seem to impressed. Maybe I just caught him in a grumpy mood or something. Imagine That !!!! Is this engine for competition or something? ...I have not been paying attention

yea heaven forbid you should improve something...once again you've lost your mind Andy. i went through some agg with ARP studs for a megablock. when i called ARP they said that the standard hemi kit would work for this application but when the guy gave me the lengths they weren't the lengths i believed would work when i measured things up. ordered the hemi kit and they were too short ended up sending them back and ordering loose studs in the lengths i measured which fit correct. told ARP they should look into packaging these lengths for a megablock kit. don't know if they ever did but i don't think so

We used the standard offset exhaust rocker arms on both the intake and the exhaust and had some custom spacers made up to center the intakes on the valves.
that's a very nice looking setup. the above statement seems alittle confusing to me though. it doesn't look like all those rockers are exhaust rockers???
what are you using to hold the intermesiate shaft in place since there's no dist. in the hole?
what dimension did you come up with for the milling of the head to accept the jesel stands. it's not like i'd probably ever do all that but it'd be great info just the same.

Looks great, Andy. Did you change cams or are you still running the solid flat tappet? Looking forward to hearing the results. BTW, that Indy 3X sure looks big .

Andy, your new wires for the front-mount are being built next week, and you will have them by next week for real-world dyno tests. Thanks for waiting for the 8.5 mm's. Awesome work , bud. You have a fun job !!!!

Here is a picture that shows the difference between using exhaust rocker arms on the intake and using the 440-1 offset intake rocker arms.
The cylinder on the left has the 440-1 intake rocker arm which moves the pushrod over too much for the EZ head. The cylinder on the right has two exhaust rocker arms and the pushrod lines up in the proper location.
Andy, in the last pic here is the tip roller parallel with the pivot shaft(the large shaft) or is it parallel with the C/L of the rocker, I cant really see, looks like its a optical elution

does he have any other mood ???
andy , how close are the bolts holding the jesel shaft to the head to the holes where the original shaft holddown bolts go ? it looks a little close ?
also the reverse flow pump , who makes that , doesn't look like an indy setup
