Here is what I use to hold the oil pump drive shaft in place. I tooled up to make these since I needed one for my motor and I couldn't find anyone else making them. I've sold a few to the SS Hemi boys since they all run the Jesel distributor. Doesn't seem to be many other people running this setup though.

Andy.. Better stock up on them.. Its getting ,ore and more popular.. We should talk.. I'd love to carry that thing in our website.. We can swap jpegs and things.. I guarantee you at least 10 sales through me, starting soon.. Seems like all we have been selling these days are Hemi and front mount wire sets.. I think the great idea is catching on..

Andy,
Did you run this motor with conventional cooling before? I am curious to see the power difference between conventional and reverse cooling.

I also provided the info to Russ at Indy but he didn't seem to impressed. Maybe I just caught him in a grumpy mood or something.

does he have any other mood ???

andy , how close are the bolts holding the jesel shaft to the head to the holes where the original shaft holddown bolts go ? it looks a little close ?

also the reverse flow pump , who makes that , doesn't look like an indy setup

Three of the bolts holding the Jesel stand go into original holes, four other bolts are new locations. The existing bolt holes get drilled and re-tapped to 7/16 thread instead of 3/8 thread. But, the original holes barely clean up.

Bottom line is that if you're going to run the Jesel set up it is better to start with a bare head that is machined that way rather than convert. The conversion can be done but I'd think for a full on race motor it would be better to start off the right way. I don't think Indy offers the EZ head with a Jesel option though but I suppose a person could arrange for a semi-custom setup.

The water pump is from Meziere. It is a bolt on reverse flow water pump so you don't have to use the Indy manifold thing.

This picture might help explain where the bolt go that hold down the Jesel stand.
