Tell me more? They might not have great quality control but...????

The World site says the blocks have Priority main oiling system. How is that done? I don't see a separate main bearing oil galley in this pic (like the Koleno blocks)

Here is some more info on the World Blocks.

http://www.raybarton.com/supermill.htm

There is an oil flow diagram as well for those interested.

From that, it looks like the same old wedge/hemi oiling layout. I don't see any new priority main oiling change.

That modification is needed when you take a raised cam block and machine for the larger roller bearing cam bearings with the cages. You loose too much material with this modification and reinforcing the area becomes necessary.

Just look at the material on a stock cam location bore,a raised cam bore and and a modified bore for 55mm roller cam bearings,a $500 dollar option which needs a special cam.

Seriously considering getting that block from BM, but it's a raised cam block.

Pitfalls for this for a car mainly for the street? Needs custom valvetrain? Cam? Can you run hyd. lifters if the cam has been raised since these lifters are so tall.

What's the typical costs for getting the lifters bored and bushed (want to run a hyd. roller)?

Bill Mitchell blocks are bushed. cam is raised but lifters are in stock position not sure if there's a chain and gears for a raised cam but a Jesel belt drive costs around 1400.00

The particular block they have on sale, lifter bores aren't even bored, much less bushed:

Fred,
The link you gave (expired auction) had both raised cam and spread lifter bores (.200"). I am just curious, what is the going cost on a roller cam made for the special lifter locations?
