Have to paint the engine compartment on this 71 road runner clone. Have a few questions for you guys,
What's the paint code for sublime green?
And shouldn't the top of the cowl area be painted flat black? Or leave it body color?

Can't help with the paint code but the cowl should be body color.

The core support gets blacked out not the cowl...Plymouth and Dodge used different names for colors. yours is FJ6....Oh and not an expert...

Thanks for the replys. I see the sassy grass is J6 for 1971. And in 1970 sublime is j5. Are these the same colors??? This isn't the original color of the car. Want to make sure i get the right color paint before i spray the engine bay. Can anyone tell from the pics????

It looks like the orignal color of the car was Amber Sherwood F3 but was repainted Limelight J5 but color can vary alot with just pics

Your car doesn't look like FJ6 to me. Looks more like the 1970 FJ5.

Your car may even be a Ford colour by the pics. It doesn't look FJ5 or FJ6 to me.

appears the darker green on the inner fender is the sherwood (olive-ish)green. 70 sublime isn't as bright/intense as sassy grass, and really a little lighter shade imo

That is not FJ5 or FJ6 in my monitor and yes the inner fenders look like Amber.

I know computer photo's aren't accurate but this is FJ6.

Cowl gets blackout between the hood weatherstripping and the windshield ONLY if it's an air grabber car with the hood blackout.

Maybe it's AMC BIG BAD GREEN, wasnt that a color ? But seriously, you need to try and bring a sample, like your side mirror, to your paint source for a color match.
