Yeah.......since you are doing a SB now, you can make one of those for the rest of us. (With indicator at same angle as 59º lifter of course) BTW, that's a $40.00 Moroso 18" degree wheel.

Another view showing the pointer as well as the tool that holds the dial indicator over the lifter bores.
i like the dial indicator stand.does the indicator have a long stem,or is it on the pushrod?are they for sale?
I do sell a cost reduced version of that dial indicator stand. Part number AR246. You can get them from Hughes Engines. Big block only. Might fit Hemi also, never tried it myself.

... a bent piece of coat hanger...
Uhhh... that's all I ever use. Oh, and a bolt & washer to attach it to the block.
Same here.... a piece of 1/16" tig rod(I dont have any coat hangers in the shop)
Me three ,and they are totally adjustable and come in different colors
Now thats a piston stop!
You likey?Than you would love the roller lifter with the bolt welded in the pushrod seat location for a nice spot for the dial indacator actuator
I use the same setup.Made by poorfolk LTD

My dial indicator plunger rides on 2 gutted hyd lifters with a section of 1/2" pipe jammed between the lifters. Works great.

Andy, I looked and searched The Hughes Engines web site and could not find the indicator holder listed? How much does it sell for?

I'm pretty sure Hughes has at part on hand. Call Kevin at Hughes and ask them. If they don't have them on hand they can order them, I have them in stock. They might have just forgotten to put the picture on the website. You'll have to check with them on pricing.
