I'm sorry maybe I was not specific enough. There is a 91 Dakaota 2wd in the scrap yard near me and I can get the spindles of it for $30.Will these work?Or are the spindles being talked about in this thread custom made"drop" spindles designed to drop a Dakota 2 inches but just happen to work on full size rams?I'm starting to confuse myself thanks for the help

Alright, I am still having an issue trying to get my truck on the road. Like I stated in a previous post I used 73 inner tie rod ends because they are the length that was needed. The 73 inner tie rods do not fit into the 83 drag link. So does anyone know what I can do short of changing every new piece that I have installed? Please help!!

So what is everyone doing for shocks? I have the 2" drop springs and a 2" drop spindle. I need shocks badly. I think Summit has adjustable drag shocks, those any good for street use? SUM-G7600 is what I am looking at $36 a piece and adjustable.

The air dam is made for 72 to 80 's style trucks . Had it on the top of my garage for a long time . Just may install it on the truck . I just don't know how long it will stay in one piece before i rip the thing off on the curbs & bumps .

Just found this thread tonight, and spent most of the evening reading it.
Since I just got another D100, this was first on my mind, on the others I cut coils and de-arched.
I have had a GMC for years, with belltech spindles and c-notch, which rode like stock and drove great. Spindles are definitely the way to go!

It takes gasoline to interest me.

Well I finally am getting to my front suspension on my 88 d150.
Installed the drop spindles, now to get the tie rods hooked up,the stock came in from the top,the drop comes in from the bottom, what ends have anyone used to drop in.
I know i will have to ream,is there a larger taper end than stock for that year with the same sleeve thread size?
