Years ago I ran my Escort and Ranger down the track, both ran low 21's.

Ran my 1994 Ford Ranger a few times dialed 19.70's in the 1/4. Had some fun and actually runnered up in it twice.

My 2004 Cavalier dialed 18.80's think I only ever one one round in it. Could smash the tree deepin it but would run anywhere from 18.60 - 18.99. Hard drving the stripe with guys coming dialed 12'0's.

Ran my dads bone stock Iroc-Z camaro with a 305 in it. Dialed between 15.00 and 15.20. Won alot of rounds with that car. Went to 4 finals in 3 weekends with it.

THe slowest i have ever gone was in Jr's Blew up an engine and Dad and I went up to the lawnmower shop and bought a bone stock 5HP briggs to race the next day and dialed 22.40 in the 1/8. I actually won one round in it against a car dialed 9.00 (pretty sure he ran out of Methanol before he left line.

Next season, let's have a Rental-car Nationals at Spokane Raceway. 4-cylinders only, preferably Mopar/GM/Ford to avoid the Ricer stigma. All-Mopar may be even better.

My wife's 1969 Camaro before the new engine. The tired old 307 went 15.25 best the one time I took it to the track. I did manage to go a few of rounds with it, but finding the radio station while I waited for the stripe was fun.

high 17's low 18's in my 95 Ram V-6 I think I've won 5 or 6 times in this truck it ran high 11's in the 1/8 got a 10.37 out of it before I knocked the rod bearings out of it w/ a 100 shot of nitrous

2004 Sebring 2.4 1st time out it ran a low 18. After working on it alittle it will run a mid 15

1966 Big block Chevelle with a trans brake and delay... it ran 15.teens to 15.thirties. It slowed down when the air got better.

1978 Chrysler LeBaron, 318. Ran 17.30's with the 2 barrel, and 16.50's with a 4.

I have taken my Rav4 down the track a few times. 22.04 has been the slowest(missed a shift) and its been as fast 19.92. I did beat a BMW that day. Cut an .055 light to his .789. Also had a 91 Honda hatch that I beat a 94 Mustang(v6)in, he had to have thought he had a cool car. It was a grudge type thing. I didnt have $1k in the Honda, but it still ran 15.15 to his 15.41. I still remember that like it was yesterday, him pounding the steering wheel when my win light came on lol.

'80 Aspen /6 12.006 in the 1/8 mile. Slow, but accurate.

2 years ago at milan at the all mopar day I raced a guy with a 4 door swinger that dialed in at 20.00 seconds i dialed in at 10.85 talk about a long wait!!! it sucked I broke out.

Running a slow bracket car can be great (My Duster is slow compared to a lot of rides at the track). My opponent will often red light because of the long wait at the tree, or I will dump him at the stripe and he'll break out flying past me at 130+ mph.

Especially when you would race an 11 second car that would blow by you at 120 mph across the finish line!
