I read about the DOT vs european specs. Im confused about HID vs H4 vs 9004...It seems that true HID is no good for our dual-beam set-ups but you can convert to a hi/low H4. And then you can specify 9003/HB2 or 9004/bixenon or 9007/bixenon...Can someone please clarify all this for us? What kits have you guys used and howd you like them?

Has anyone used the new Sylvania sealed beams?

Thanks. My old lights dont see so good...

If it aint broke, dont break it.

Cheapest and easiest.Just go to local parts store and get 4 Haloneg sealed beams.Next cheapest upgrade is the low beams the have the H4 bulbs in them.We had halogebs in all our old cars.My 57 would light up the road like it was daylight.KID is expensive both to install and to replace.Have them aimed also that males a difference.Lots here will say you need relays. My kid 62 has had Halogens in it for 9 years with no problems.Biggest thing with relays is they usually let more power go to the lights.Rocky

i haven't really messed with the headlights on my car - i have 3 wagner (?) halogens and one original high beam (idk why) that were never very bright, so i installed relays and it made a huge difference
