On that engine I'd say around 20HP.

What would it do for our B1? The heads are coming soon as we get them pulled.

It all depends on how bad the intake is before porting....! If an intake is poor OOTB you can really look like a porting HERO by making more than that but reality if the intake is really good OOTB and you pick up 10HP you look like a HERO's backside...LOL! The higher HP the engine the larger the gain (usually) because your working on a larger scale.
I've seen upwards of 35HP gain with Indy's 4500 intake when modified. That was on a 700Hp engine.

Mopower: plenum and runner porting can be time consuming but that intake is a nice OOTB casting and is not too bad. SG66: Scott's right, the B1 intake is nice OOTB and I usually only port the runner exits and some mild blending at the plenum.

I have a set of B1s coming from Koffels. Scott said it's not worth the money to get carried away unless you want every last HP. My motor's pretty big in a fairly light car and I only want to run around 8.60 so they're just going to bo a basic clean up and port match.
Yeh,we'll probably leave it as is,just port matched to our cnc heads. I just can't leave anything alone.

Thanks Brian.
I'll probably just port match it my self and blend the runners
I have noticed though if I place a carb gasket on top of my Victor's carb flange, there is quite a bit of material to the inside of it. Would it be wise to remove these "bumps" to open up the plenum a little?
Maybe I should post a picture...

I would say it did although it was never tested before. That's a fairly standard modification to the Mopar Victor series intakes. Like doing a valve job on new heads before they are used.

FWIW, I did the same mod to a 440 Victor which showed about 8-10 HP increase on the dyno at higher RPM compared to an out-of-the-box one.

I did an old M1 manifold on a 540ci.street motor and it made 654hp and 704lbs torque on the dyno. It had fully ported closed chambered eddy's. I think you can gain 35+ horse with the manifold ported. But it all depends on what cam u are runnig. The 540 was a full roller with cross bolted mains. We tested three manifolds and all three were in the 630+ range. M1, Wiend Tunnel Ram and a 6-Pack. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call. 1-712-790-6106 and ask for jason(Shotties Porting Service).
i was wondering what the cam would play into, on porting the intake. with the cam i run, we believe it must have more reversion than others. so would porting the intake help more or less? i run indy -3 with -1 heads cnc ported to 325
