05 minivan dripping too much oil. 150K mi. Drip is hanging from bottom of oil filter, but I cant see where its coming from. So I changed oil and filter, wiped everything clean. Snugged oil pan bolts which werent loose at all. Next day, drip, drip, drip...

Looks like I could replace oil pan gasket. Are these prone to leaking there or where else to look?

Tanks.

If it aint broke, dont break it.

The OP Oil pressure sending unit is right next to the oil filter they can often leak into the wire conector and drip out on the ground.
