No answer in the restoration section so I`ll ask here. I`m sure this has been asked many times before but I couldn`t find it in a search. What is the paint color code for the 72 or 73 orange air cleaners? Thanks, Mike

All I know is that it isnt the same Hemi orange that was used on the exterior of EV2 cars, but Totally Auto has the correct air cleaner orange.

I only see spray cans. Do they sell it by the pint or quart? Mike

I simply used ORANGE

my 74 is a driver so i used Hemi orange engine paint. Unless i go to a judged mopar show nobody notices the difference.

If you use the Mopar paint it's the Street Hemi orange.

I'm curious what the paint code is for the '72-'74 orange air cleaners. Has anyone had one scanned at a paint store?
