Trying to replace the door jam switch on the 70 Duster but havn't been able to locate the proper switch.

The switch I require has the 1/2 x 20 threads with 2 prongs.

Would anyone have the part number for this switch.

Are you sure it isn't a 3/8" 24 thread.
Available from Napa, Rock Auto and Year One.
Used from 69-73..

Just my $0.015..

70 up used a bigger switch... you pretty much need to find decent used ones.

Did some research....

Layson's say they have a 1/2 inch switch but I have never heard of a 1/2 x 24 thread for these switches.

Furthur more they have them in stock, but then can I believe Dave?

Maybe I will wait till some other folks chime in with other alternatives before I explore Laysons furthur.
