4 speed trans fron a 69 b body
first ? i i drained all the fluid so how much do i add back?
also what brand/weight do i need to use?(non re built)

the trans is a 69 but the car is a 71b body so what trans crossmember and mount do i need?(shi9fter location has been took care of)

how was the shifter location taken care of ?

used the non console(bench seat) for a 71 wich uses a dogbone bracket to relocate the shifter and thay mount off the front pad on a e/b trans(b body only has just the front pad)

then you need the 66-69 b body 4 speed X member , an auotmatic one can be modified to work.

i had one that was orignal to the trans but thr holes to mount to crossmember was too close togeather

E/71B must use a different X member, you'll need one that doesn't use a spool mount and modify it .

For lube just fill it till its at the fill hole.I use regular 80 90 gear oil im mine and Ive had the same trans since 1969.Rocky
