Got the 572-13 heads which use the Jesel rocker arms , had two rocker arms break right @ the adjusters , adj nuts are torqed to 30lb , seems they always break @ idle , around 300lb seat pressure/800lb open , they broke within 3 months of each other , these are used on the street & track , no coil bind or piston to valve issues , any thoughts?

The Ex rocker arms have less material around adj area as opposed to the intakes (1.5rr)

Thanks

Seems the rocker arm stands are wrong for the rocker arms , found some scuffing on the underside of EX rocker arms , this engine was built State side , seems it was tearing the hold down bolts to rocker shaft/stand , the guy who had it before me changed to ARP bolts for this reason , seems the weak link is now the rocker arms , will get hold of the right stands & hope it will fix the problem.

Will pull the stands & see where it's binding , did'nt think of this before now. , always thought it was due to the adjusters getting too much heat when a few pushrods got hot due to lack of oil with the spray bars , due to the fact the rocker arms are breaking right @the adjusters.
