Hey guys I have a buddy that wants to build a 474 stroker. He asked me to post about what your combo is, he isn't computer literate. He is interested in connecting rod, piston, cam and cylinder head information. Also dyno and time slip info would be appreciated. Thanks guys! Steve

I'm currently collecting parts to put a 470 together next spring. I plan on building a low deck with 6.700 rods a 1.30 ch piston and a 3.915 stroke crank. This should give me a little room to have the block decked and get close to a zero deck. I'm going to build mine as close as I can to Andy Fs' 550hp build except with a hydraulic roller. Hope this helps a bit.

Which type block does he want to use? What bore size and stroke does he plan on using?
Sorry its a 400 block, 3.915 stroke, and probably 4.375 or what ever it takes to clean up the bores. He certainly wants to use off the shelf parts. Steve
