I'm building about a 12.5:1 340 stroker and don't want to push out headgaskets.
I know people will recomend cometics but after my last experience I won't use them again, at least not on an LA motor.
I did end up using SCE Titan ICS coppers which worked well and will have no problem dealing with the compression but they are $$
Any composites up to the task??

I run cometics on everthing. Especially small block mopars. Grant it you can't square the surfaces with a belt sander and expect them not to leak. LOL

Cometics here for 7 years at 13.3 compression zero head gasket failures.I am flat out sold on them
I have had many failures at less compression with 1008 fel pro's.
if the surfaces are prepped correctly, i wouldnt run anything but cometics on a 10 bolt head.

With a true 12.5:1 and using bolts to hold it (stock ones, yes?) I think the best gasket you can get would be the choice. Why not just use what worked before?
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
