I always do my own, not comepletely factory correct finish, though.

Yeah I've done them ...but after the last pair I told my wife I'd see if I could get them done next time...so the neighbors wouldn't complain about the loud noises and the excessive swearing
coming out of my garage.

Firm Feel will strip them and reinforce them + powder coat if you want. If that's what you mean by re build. They did mine and a nice job. I didn't spring for the powder coat and applied Eastwood "chassis black" myself. I'm very satisfied.
