Hello all,

Can anyone tell me the size of the ports on Milodon's oil pump cover (I have the remote filter style). I need to plug the external inlets, and I need AN adapter fittings for the oil filter outlet/return ports.

Ports look like -12AN O-ring ports, but I'd like to be sure. Also, and I don't have the part here with me, but I'm not sure the front ports and the back are the same size.

Has anyone used this part? Does anyone know the port sizes?

All this would be much simpler if Milodon included a half-page leaflet in the product with this information, or if they had a decent web site with actually useable information, but that is not the case.

The Milidon remote covers I have are 12AN/12AN-O-ring on the suction side and 10AN/10AN-O-ring on the filter side in and out. Our remote filter housing use 10AN/1/2 NTP(pipe.)

I don't recall the milodon # on mine but it's #12 straight thread with o-ring on suction side, both in and out to remote is #10 straight thread with o-ring .

it's ok to butt heads, just don't do it with a butthead

Thanks guys.

So, -12AN O-ring back and -10AN O-ring front.

Hemifred, that page on Milodon's web site is exactly what got my rant started. Not much useable information there. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt them to indicate the fitting sizes for all the ports in their cover(s) (or to have individual pictures for each part number).
