Ive noticed that Speedworld here in Orlando has gone to the 1/8 mile for the points meet. ( At least the street nats will stay 1/4mi) How does that effect your setups between the two? Or do most people leave their cars set up for the 1/4 & deal with it?

it really depends!!

If your running for points in a Bracket style. You can leave your 1/4 mile set-up and fall into what ever class / dial-in your car will run.

If your running Heads-up/Index and need to run both 1/8 & 1/4. It would be best to have a 3rd-member style rear-end and 2-3rdmembers set up 1 for each track.

I know a lot of outlaw guys that do this.

I only go to the street drags to play so it is still a 1/4 mile for that. Just was wondering if you try to use all three gears through the traps in the 1/8th or optimize it for 2nd gear,ETC..

Probably (depending on gear) you're gonna stay in 2nd. Most BB i've run have had auto's w/ 3.91's. The 1/8 is right about where the 2-3 shift is. I guess you'll have to run it a few times and see what works best for you.
