Does anyone have a picture of a correct 1971 B-body 440 HP throttle bracket and the return spring bracket? Are they the same as a '70 engine with the one bolt throttle bracket and the return bracket with the hole for the PCV hose? Thanks

This applies to a factory 4-spd car if it matters in '71...

First thats an aftermarket bracket... Second it's based on the 70 & earlier design parts... I have a 71 setup at the shop but I don't have a photo... I'll see if I can track one down...
I just searched Ebay only found one nice restored 71 big block car & it is using a 70 style bracket... Could be some 71's got them but it is generally accepted that in 71 they went to the one piece style kickdown rod.. vs the three piece design shown above...

The Factory "1971 Dodge Chassis Service Manual," Section 21, Page 84 & 85 shows both the 3-piece kickdown rod linkage and the one-piece kickdown rod for the V8 engine excluding 426 Hemi, but this is for the Automatic Transmission equipped vehicles.
My '71 Charger SE originally came with a 383, Auto Trans, and it had the single-rod linkage.
However, according to his SECOND post, he requests a photo/drawing for a 4-speed Manual-Transmission vehicle.
So, displayed below is the Drawing of the V8 Engine with Manual Transmission version from Section 14, Page 133, of the 1971 Chassis Service Manual:

Theres another possiblity "No Fear" may indicate "No Brain"

My '71 GTX is missing the original 440, so with a little searching, I found a '71 G440HP engine for sale all rebuilt. It is out of a '71 GTX as well with a later SPD than mine. When did driver side valve cover start coming with the raised dome towards the front and did they always use the throttle bracket pictured above during the '71 model year on 4-spd cars?
