I bought one of those new #846 Grant Tuff Grip steering wheels off of E-bay last week for $99.00. Man it sure is nice, the ONLY thing I don't like on it is the rubber grip comes up a little to high on the spokes, but you can't trim it because when they cut it they scored a line in the metal..Other than that it is a very nice repop and the horn button is just as nice. If you guys want any pics of it just let me know.....

Nice looking wheel. Is the dish any deeper than on the original Tuff wheel?
The reason I ask I recently picked up an original wheel for my D100. I was planning on just re-drilling it for the Grant adaptor. When I mocked it up, it was just too far away with out the original style adaptor (the one about 3" deep).
It seems I read somewhere that the Grant wheel is drilled for both their adaptor and the original one.

Yeah, the 80's car style Tuff Grip center was padded in the center and had a metal satin ring around it. The muscle cars & trucks center are hard plastic but they all fit the same horn switch... Yes, the Grant is drilled for both adapters...

I hope they shorten up the material on the spokes. The wheel looks god, but it's kinda wierd too.
