At least I hope so as that is my plans:) Now the question is how much extra is it going to cost him to go Hemi over wedge if starting from scratch.

IIRC, it had Indy or Victors and used a stock block(yes! a 40 year old stock block) The motor you are talking about could cost 20K(using an aluminum block etc) but not anywhere near 50K
