Ok, as some of yall know, I married my beautiful wife saturday and left the church in the cuda. Well, on the way home from the reception we got beside a red Honday CBR "crotch rocket" motorcycle. Now, I have been dying to get a chance to run a bike since I put the hemi in the car, but have never gotten the chance. The wife okayed it too, lol. Don't know how big the bike was, all I saw was CBR written on it. Anyways, got beside him at 60 mph...I downshifted to 2nd, he downshifted, I'm waiting with an itchy trigger finger. Then he smacks the throttle and all I hear is this thing screaming beside me, so I rolled into the gas hard, trying to keep the tires from goin up in smoke, and probably scared him half to death when 572" of hemi barking through 4" single chamber flowmasters proceeded to put about 3 car lengths on him before I grabbed 3rd gear. So yeah, I was street racing, bash me or whatever, I really don't care. We were on a major highway w/ little traffic. It was fun though. CHIP

Good job Chip! Did you have the ET street radials on the car? I was amazed how easily they went up in smoke in your video.

A sport bike is faster than most street cars.
But not all of 'em...
Good story!

Great story and congratulations on the marriage Chip. I've always been inspired by your car. Was the bike red white and blue? It was likely an older Honda 600cc. That's the only ones I recall that had the CBR tags on them.
At 60 mph, you had caught the old boy without the advantage of the hole shot some of those small bikes can have, but few 600's can come close to a car like yours that's so quick in the 1/4 mile once your up to freeway speed.
Just like Hemi 'Cudas are few and far between, there are a few big bikes out there that are capable of doing 10's in the 1/4 and that can still do over 180 mph bone stock. I'd love to see a standing half mile race with your car and one of those.
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda #'s 440-6(block in storage)currently 493" 6 pack, Shaker, 5 speed Passon, 4.10's 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Convertible 408 Magnum EFI with 4 speed automatic overdrive, 3800 stall lock-up converter and 4.30's (closest thing to an automatic 5 speed going)
