Guess they won't be trying out for one of JF's open seats next year? Talk about burning bridges.

Oh, but they do. If they are going to take the fans' $100 bill for a top of the line seat on race day, they owe the fans a show with integrity and professionalism, without the fans the pro dog and pony show doesn't exist.

john force racing is not taking $100 from fans so they can watch a race... that is my point, john force racing has a contract with thier sponsors and thats who they care about, get that car into the top ten, make the sponsor happy, its a business. end of story, you think they really really care about what the fans want?

It is what it is, if you like it watch it.
If you don't like it, don't watch it.
This is how the NHRA show runs. As for Dragracing,
there are many different groups, bodies, clubs,
and NHRA just so happens to be the big one. I hate
the '1000 ft B.S. but I still watch it. We all
love dragracing, but we all love different kinds
of it. I think some sportsman racing is boring
but others would rather watch that than the pros.

I have to say, John sure did a bad job at taking
a dive. And Cruz and Tony say it how they see it.
In the end ESPN 2 we all love it or hate it.

If Tony thinks him and Cruz are the small guys,
maybe they should go over to IHRA. It's just that
no one watches IHRA and the live TV is on NHRA.

Wonder what is next? who is the next racer to

WWE? forget that! Real fights are over here.

EXACTLY!!! The Peds are bigger tools than Force ever thought about being. They do more whining than a dirt track racer!

You guys talking about the old days and working on their own cars, just go to an IHRA event where "The Golden Greek" Chris Karamesines attends and you will see a stand up guy who still pulls his rail with a small truck and the old school trailer plus works on his own equipment with his family as his crew All at 80--aaahhh the good old days!! As far as the Force thing I think the statements about the $$$ are right in him getting his team in the chase, and maybe it was a little slap in the face of the Pedregons also

416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out.
11.06 open headers----so far!!

Some of you guys sure have short memories. KJ used to throw races for his old man, Angelle whateverhernameisnow once didn't even bring her bike to the lanes so her teammate could win. Think DSR doesn't "maniupulate" things?

Before NHRA changed the rules, big teams would lend the "little guy" who was still in engines, tires, bodies, or anything else they needed to "manipulate" the outcome of a round or a race.

At last years finals Andrew Hines couldn't even redlight correctly and hit a .00 light. He had to pretend the trans wouldn't shift to throw the race and give Eddie Kraewick the points he needed to win the championship.

Force should have cut a decent light, and this wouldn't have been so obvious. It stinks, and anything Robert Hight does for the rest of this year will be tainted. But this stuff goes on all the time.

I say Pedregon is a backstabbing, hypocritical, whining, loser, no wonder his crew chief left.

And did anyone notice the fans three deep at Force's trailer after that race?

And then you see Tony's line of fans, barely enough to fill in one row.
If he would have kept his mouth shut ,calling John a cheater before the pass,he might not have sounded like as big of a jerk.
I believe the whole countdown deal was when the NHRA started being too Nascar-fan friendly.Killed it for me ,anyway.

I was in a meeting when Eddie Hills name was brought up as a possible shoe for the Mopar topfuel team. He was denied that chance because they didn't like his beard and thought Tommy Johnson Jr looked more "GQ" and presentable. It's not about racing people, it's about marketing and big money. Grass roots drag racing like Steve remembers has been dead for a long time in the NHRA.

Wow. I can't believe Mopar Performance would pass over a drag racing legend like Eddie Hill in favour of Tommy Johnson Jr. Nothing against Tommy Johnson Jr., but at that time Eddie Hill was a far more accomplished drag racer.

Hemiroid - Did you work for Mopar Performance? Just curious...
