I just removed the rear seat and lost 66 lbs. from my ragtop dart , I seem to still have a issue with weight transfer to the rear tires on the srteet. At the track it will be fine ! >> the front end just does not come up fast enough I have 4.5" front end travel already ... I have the 6 cyl. bars and ce 3 ways .... Complete cal trac set up . new hoosiers QTP 10.5" x27x15 . Fiberglass hood, front bumper and scoop with light weight Bumper braces and aluminum hood braces. NO hood latch just pins or hood tension bars . Do you think I would benefit more from caltrac front shocks or installing 100 # of Ballast in the trunk rear area
HP Close to 500 ponies 500ft.lbs. tq.
The ragtop weight is approx. 3200# with out me in it.
Thanks for your opinions !

Sounds like I need to learn a little about caltracs. Glad you got it figured out!

I have the caltrac complete set up with rancho shocks. I'll try #4 setting on the cal trac set up. I have the 9-way ranchos set at 6 now. This will make the rear of car softer and squat more and hopefully letting the front end to lift easier. .
Everything is trial and error .
