I have a 70 challenger R/T non a/c car and I am repainting the engine compartment. I would like to fill in all the extra holes that have been added by previous owners for the last 37 years. Does anyone have any good pictures of all the CORRECT holes for firewall, preferably before the engine is back in the car?

Thanks!

On a non 4 speed car all the 4 speed holes are not present (indentations only) except for the clutch rod hole which has a cover over it. Also, the roadlamp hole will not be on a Challenger, any hole not marked belongs as it is used for hangers, clips etc.

BeepBeep,

Wow, impressive reply. Tremendous detail! Thanks alot!

Do you have any other pictures of the firewall on the passenger side where the heater box is, up higher for voltage regulator, ballast resistor, any holes for clips etc. It looks like mine has many extra holes.

Thanks again!

BeepBeep,

This is fantastic! I never expected to get this kind of detail.

You wouldn't happen to have the same pictures for both inner fenders, would you?

Thanks again!

Very impressive reply. Nice job. Wish I would have found out that info when doing my 70.

Nice Job BeepBeep!!
Does anyone know if/what are the differences for the '74's firewall and inner fenders?
I am putting stuff back on and am sure things were in the wrong places before.
Thanks Again!!
